8/20 sunday in the shade

took a nice easy run on the B springs greenbelt this afternoon. I saw a few lizards, a bunch of rock climbing hippies, a few mountain bikers, and very little water. I ran in from the south side of the springs (free parking) and ran in 3.5 miles, turned and came back. I wanted to strengthen the ankle, run in the shade, and test my ability to run slowly on recovery days. It worked.
Distance 7.25 miles. Goals this week: 65 miles. Step up the intensity just a little.

M-10 miles on rocket run
T- 1000's at Zilker (7 miles)
W-10 miles recovery
Th-800's (7 miles)
F- 8 miles recovery
S- long run (16)
